The Avanti Owners Association is holding its annual meet here next week to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the design and development of the Avanti in Palm Springs under the direction of Raymond Loewy.

[PSL covered the introduction of the Avanti back in 1962 with a color cover and a 6-page story.]
