...unless, of course, you're lucky enough to live in Maine (ME), Massachusetts (MA), Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, Vermont or DC. Even though Patriot's Day is a state holiday only in MA and ME (which was a part of MA until 1820), residents of those other states are required to mail their tax forms to the IRS processing center in Andover, MA.Which won't receive any mail delivery on April 17, Patriot's Day.
So those lucky dawgs get one more day to agonize over their 1040s.
