Desert flora: agave

There are a lot of agave plants out here in the desert.

Some of 'em grow wild.

I think this one is an Adam's needle.

But it might be a Spanish bayonet.

Or even a Spanish dagger.

If you know what kind it is, please set me straight. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer...
