Saturday night at 7pm, Road Kill Kings will perform at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown:"Road Kill Kings were formed out of a mutual love of traditional country, rockabilly, and bluegrass music with a dash of rock n' roll thrown in for drinkability. RKK infuses traditional bluegrass and country into a potently contagious style of roadhouse music that is sure to win over any crowd."
According to the RKK site, they specialize in Rockabilly / Roots Music / Psychobilly. Their logo's a real eye-catcher, too. Poor 'dillo.
Did you know:
· The armadillo is the only animal, other than humans, that carries leprosy?
· It's illegal to sell a live armadillo in the state of Texas?
· Texas has adopted the armadillo as its official state mammal?
It seems like Texans are a little bit schizoid. But I guess we already knew that...
