Signs of Life: Tenent

Note: "Tenent" is an alternative spelling of tenet (a principle, belief, or doctrine generally held to be true). But I don't think this sign is referring to any beliefs, other than the sadly mistaken belief that there's no discernible difference between "tenent" and "tenant."

As you may have guessed by now, misspellings on signs drive me nuts. I've probably screwed up a few words in this blog, but there's a plausible excuse: The Desert Quidnunc is a one-man show. It seems like many pairs of eyes would need to approve a public sign, before it's emblazoned on steel.

But noooooooo, they just slapped it together, like words and apostrophes don't really matter.

Funny thing is - there are five exact duplicates of this sign, within a ten-yard radius.
