[According to legend, if a groundhog (woodchuck) sees his shadow when he comes out of his burrow today, we're in for six more weeks of winter weather. If he doesn't see it, there will be an early spring. This celebratory ritual falls on the same day as the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc.]
