Motorcycle Training, Basic Rider Course - Everyone Comes Out Smarter

"Everyone, no matter how much riding experience they have, comes out smarter and safer on their bike," says Halle Fetty, owner of Valley V-Twin Motorcycle Sales, "We don't run the classes...my husband works part time for them as an instructor. We just push them because it's the right thing to do...our son 'went down' 5 years ago on a bike...That's why we are so keen on training and safety."

The Basic Rider course offered by Coachella Valley Motorcycle Training is fifteen (15) hours long. The course takes place for five (5) hours in the classroom on a Thursday night, and five (5) hours on a bike on both Saturday and Sunday. Classes are held most every weekend at the Cathedral City High School campus.

The cost for riders under 21 year olds is $150 (Note: no one under 21 can get a motorcycle endorsement without taking the class here in California). The cost is $250 for riders 21 and over.
