Friday: Friday Night at the Movies presents "It Happened One Night" with Clark Gable, benefitting Angel View Crippled Children's Foundation. Saturday evening: At 7:30pm, it's an evening of cabaret with Vic Leon with the Tibor Lesko Band at Dale's Lost Highway on Tahquitz. Reservations required: 327-2005. And you win a nice prize if you happen to find the highway that Dale lost.

Also on Saturday evening: Comedian Sinbad performs clean at 8pm, Spotlight 29. Little-known fact: Sinbad appeared on the Star Search television show with Dennis Miller, back when they were both unknowns. Sinbad won.

Sunday: Raul Malo & John Corbett are at Casino Morongo - doors open at 6pm. Holy crap - Aidan stopped bonking Carrie and started playing sh*t-kicking music on the same stage with a Cuban guy who specializes in country & western?! My mind is officially blown.
