Lavender Fest

lavenderThe Lavender Festival (offering aromatherapy lectures, distillation demonstrations, lavender cooking, children's activities and an organic marketplace) will take place from 10am-5pm during the next two weekends at the Highland Springs Resort in Cherry Valley.

Aromatherapists claim that lavender relieves stress, anxiety and insomnia.

It smells pretty darn good, too.
