[Bobby demonstrates, while speaking.] Hopping, waving, running side-straddle, backpedaling, dancing carioca steps, jumping jacks, doing peekaboo around the light pole.
What's been your strangest reaction?
German tourists park their cars and come out to take pictures. They don't see this in Europe.
Is this kind of advertising effective for your business?
50-60% of our new customers have seen our wavers on the corner. It's a neighborhood marketing concept. [Jumps, waves and salutes to drivers turning left from Ramon to Date Palm. Gasps while talking.] I always salute the policemen and firemen. We'll talk in between, okay? [Runs down Ramon and backpedals, waving. Gasps when he returns.] This is our second year out here. I don't have time to visit the gym, so this is my workout. [Sidesteps down Date Palm, waving. Gasps when he returns.] I've been out here since January 13, the first e-file date. And I'll probably be out here on Monday, April 17, this year's deadline. [Dances and waves to drivers turning left from Ramon to Date Palm. Gasps while talking.] Last year, I was out here on the 14th, yelling: "Un día más! One more day!" [others]
