PS Walk of Stars: Ray Patencio

Ray Leonard Patencio, Agua Caliente Tribal Leader/Elder, was honored with the 267th star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars this morning, at 400 E. Tahquitz.

Ray was born and raised on the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation in Palm Springs and is a member of the tribe, having served in many capacities since 1967, including ten years as Tribal Chairman and ten years as Tribal Council Secretary.

Ray is currently the Chairman of the Agua Caliente Gaming Commission, Chairman of the Agua Caliente Election Board, Member of the California Regulators/Commissioner Group, Member of the Canyon National Bank Advisory Board, Delegate to the Tribal/Gaming Association, Member of the Board of Directors of the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum and Treasurer of the Agua Caliente Museum Board.
