Tonight: At 8pm, Emmy Award-winning comedian Dana Carvey will appear at the McCallum. Dana is best known for his hilarious impersonations and characterizations (like "The Church Lady"). Well, isn't that special.Friday: Katherine Siva Saubel will speak on "Ancient Cahuilla Culture" at 7pm in an Old Schoolhouse Lecture. The dog ate my homework - hope I won't get a detention.
Saturday morning: Palm Desert Public Art Tour, 10am. It's sorta like our Palm Springs virtual tour, except they make you walk.
Saturday afternoon: Between 10am and 5pm, you can catch a quilt show at the Pavilion Auditorium in Sunrise Park. Quilting doesn't get any better than this.
Saturday evening: The Palm Canyon Theatre presents Sweeney Todd at 8pm. You might want to switch to an electric razor before seeing this performance.
Sunday: The Claremont Trio will perform at 2:30pm in a Sunday Afternoon Concert at the Annenberg. Hm. Twin sisters with bows... but not in their hair.
