Palm Springs Casino Weekend Entertainment

I love living in the desert! The weekend’s coming and it’s time to play!
One of the best benefits of desert life is the entertainment scene the Indian casinos offer.
Look at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage for example. Do you like barbecue? They offer it poolside from 4-7 p.m. every Friday. As for music and dancing, the band Mischief plays hits from the ’70s and ’80s as well as current rock and pop in The Lounge. And at 9 and 11 p.m. Saturday in The Lounge, the tribute band No Duh performs the music of No Doubt.
Across the valley in Indio, the Fantasy Springs Casino Rock Yard venue is also having tribute bands perform. On both Friday and Saturday, the bands Cubensis and Crazy Train rock out with tunes from The Grateful Dead and Ozzy Osbourne.
Check out the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs. For R&B and Top 40 fans, Vision Band takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The music develops a Latin flavor Sunday with the sound of Quinto Menguante. Word to the wise — Come early! There’s standing room only for this popular group!
These are just a few of the things going on in the desert this weekend.
