Horoscope – July 2011

Earthly Influence Means Solid Business Opportunities

Sherryl Nova Horoscope

Despite generic transits that continue to create chaos, this month couldn’t be better for solid business progress. If you are considering a low-risk investment that is well managed, with slow, steady gain, make changes in your portfolio that reflect a more conservative outlook and a willingness to defer gratification. New starts and start ups can do especially well, if the spreadsheets are basic and financing is solid. Earth influences dominate; so appreciate the element of logic and (un)common sense. CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
The Crab starts this month with a solar eclipse, the third significant alignment since 2000. You have much to contribute — and a pain in your heart. Whether loss or disillusion has slowed you, the eclipse strengthens insofar as you can move on from old expectations and develop a strong spiritual nature. Tempered like steel, your “mother wit” is invaluable. Trust your gut.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Money issues represent a schism between core values and the “daily specials” of competitive life. Your sign exudes the strength of royalty, the confidence of rank. Therefore, striving is totally unnecessary. You would be amazed why others would say they envy you. Assets aside, you are more respected for personal integrity and will power. Simplicity requires letting go of some bling. Declutter.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mike Todd spent all that he had for big bling for Liz, an epic movie in production, and a huge tented party. He needed more money to finish the film, and the event was to lure investors. As the well-heeled crowd drank champagne and danced in the back yard, movers were at the front door to repossess the furniture. Queried about his predicament, Todd replied, “I may be broke, but I am never poor.” Get it?

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The last couple of years have been tough, 99.2 percent of Libras will tell you. Often haunted by a feeling that you have to change everything but don’t know where to start, you are increasingly putting off a decision or two that are now loudly pending. Libra’s Achilles heel is the need to keep balancing the scales. Lack of commitment is starting to withdraw from the cosmic account. First, be true to yourself. Find answers within.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Knowing where all the bodies are buried is your forte. You are not simply psychic; you are good at a game called “What Happens Next?” If you can refrain from any revenge or “I told you so” attitudes, this can be your moment. Those who trust your judgment are truly impressed, and reactions to your coups will be slow but sure. Enjoy smugness at home in front of the mirror; take humility into the streets. Be inscrutable.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Too much of a good thing threatens to derail your train. Wanted everywhere, by everybody, your presence uplifts a group or individual; and they feel empowered by your involvement. But wait. Are you invoicing for your time and energy or just basking in sweet popularity? The latter will drain you, and you will miss out on what is real. Don’t encourage intellectual lightweights for amusement.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
The blessing of rare personal time has been great, but now it can easily turn into idle periods in which time is wasted. Consider signing up for specialized education or taking on a research project that will require focus. Your life is hectic, yet superfluous. You will be much more serene with a definite response to “What’s up?” A year or two of intense preparation will pay off incredibly. You are close. Persevere.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Yes, the real estate market is dismal; but in shifting your opinion, you will find that your true net worth has more to do with your social nature than a plot of dirt. Stop obsessing over issues that will not resolve for a while, and start realizing the benefits of your contacts. Re-purpose personal space. Rent out a room or start a study group. A bit of gardening would soothe the soul. Home can be command central.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
A solitary project of your own, a secret ambition, is nurtured and supported by dropping out in the back yard. Domestic chores coordinate with inner work — a chance for psychological fitness. Take a holiday without professional interruptions. Like a sorbet cleanses the palate, a short period of total getaway will renew thought patterns. Be sure to spend the time at least a latitude degree away. 120 miles. A tank of gas. Go.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Your recent willingness to explore alternative (and fleeting) sources of expansion has put you in an excellent position to focus on one or two sure winners. Soon a new financial cycle will give you a chance to invest in yourself. Read the Mike Todd story for Virgo. Your slant on the parable is the sheer bravery of the man who knew what could be. Be first to begin again in a new way. Just do it. Fear not.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)

Finally the planet of growth (luck) is in your sign and will be there through the middle of 2012. Earth is the tortoise in the race — not fast, but steady. No backward motion. Mentally you are stimulated by what could be and will broaden your horizons with any intellectual undertaking. Take others’ input under advisement. Snap judgments may be shortsighted. Inform them that you will give it a lot of thought, but with no promises.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Mars in your sign all month is a challenge. Bob Hope (also a Twin), used to say. “My wife and I are both Geminis. We play an excellent hand of bridge.” Coming from all points, you are inundated with get-rich-quick concepts and goading to “put your money where your mouth is.” Gather all the data you can, because next month you can make decisions based on solid research. Listen.
