Jade Howe of Howe will showed his mens collection for Spring 09 as well as introduced his White Label collection for the first time. This very hip and energetic show benefitd Desert AIDS Project. Wine, hors doeuvres, music, and mens fashions. Music by the Carter Collins group.
This show looked into the present and future of West Coast fashion as designers showcased their unique perspectives on fashion and accessory design. Featured designers Candice Held, Neely Sheerer of Issho, and jewelry designer Tarina Tarrantino.
Fashion Week El Paseo hosted an afternoon luncheon and fashion show presented by Fashion Group International®. FGIs 15th annual fundraising luncheon featured an array of unique fashions from InSanity by Denise Roberge´. Uber chic designers such as Prayer, Christain Siriano, Chris Han, Iceberg and Ports 1961 were featured. The annual Crystal Style Award was presented to John Paul DeJoria, founder and owner of Paul Mitchell Hair Systems. Fashion Group Foundation also received a $20,000 scholarship from Paul Mitchell for a local student entering the beauty industry.
FIDM's Debut 2009, featuring fashions from FIDMs top graduating design students. Fashion Group Foundation will presented its design scholarship to a local student embarking on a career in design.

Our first children/teen fashion show featuried students from Marywood / Palm Valley and Sacred Heart Schools. Guests brought gently used childrens and womens fashions to be donated to Barbara Sinatra Childrens Center and Jackie Lees Thrift Shop and The Stroke Recovery Center. Proceeds benefited scholarship funds for participating schools.
