KDI Kares’ Shoebox Heroes campaign, in conjunction with the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, provides children in need with new shoes. Through Aug. 15, collection locations accept boxes of new shoes in preschool sizes 5 to 10 and youth sizes 10 1/2 to 4 1/2.
