Horoscope - April 2010

Watch Out for the Ruling Clashes
Saturn and Uranus war again. We are all susceptible to the fallout from this Virgo-Pisces clash. Virgo is the industrial revolution and systems created by the formation of commercial institutions. Pisces is the institution itself, about to explode. Could it possibly be the last gasp of the insurance giants, as the working class has had enough? Pisces also rules sheep, and large herds will probably sleep through this. For a personal reading, e-mail me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
You are so near a significant period in your life. A lot of preliminary drudgery should be undertaken, especially where you are not sure why. Momma bird does not count eggs before she builds the nest. Let your natural impatience goad you into cleanup and reorganization. Leave a clean space. The train of new beginnings will roar in.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Your sign rules monetary systems. More important than money (the effect) is valuation (the cause). A setback or need to conserve opens a window of pure light for you. When you re-examine and refine your values, your bottom line will reflect the changes. When you realize that you no longer need certain securities, you will no longer want them. A revised budget streamlines life. New concepts are precious.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
With retrograde Mercury in your sector of hidden retreats, this is the best month in years to drop out for personal renewal. June will welcome new people and projects. Old psychological clutter needs disposal. Luxuriate your own way, appreciating what you have accomplished. Realize that many avenues have proven to be cul-de-sacs; take one last look at the view and back up.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
There is a solid group waiting to support you, but they are not the usual suspects. Have no expectation, and know your needs will be met. Relying on certain individuals for input narrows your scope. Others you consider slow are simply deliberate. You are still on a kind of probation to see if your stamina will support your talent. Take special care of your health. Be cheerful; hide that crabby curmudgeon that scares them.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Mars in your sign from last fall through May 6 has been the ultimate challenge to transmute the base energy ego into the higher form. When a Lion has passion, it manifests as heart, an ability to lead the pride through the force of will. Make sure the goal is larger than you or the gang will get bored and wander away. Financial matters take on new dimensions that could greatly improve self-worth. Practice delayed gratification for success.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

These weeks represent one of those inevitable dips in the spiritual cycle when you struggle to maintain a basic oneness. The devil card in the tarot shows two chained people; but on closer look, the chains are loose and can be removed with a simple movement. Fear is false evidence appearing real. Choose the light.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Saturn demands more of you than usual, and some of the duties are downright onerous. Not cool for easy-breezy air types. You are image and protocol, liaison and harmony. Why are you struggling alone? Is there no individual whose strengths equal yours for companionship? Probably not. Your changes are fast and furious, impeding connections; yet this new entity will be stronger. Be patient.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
An associate with a net worth alien to yours and fiscal concerns in a parallel universe has discovered a passion you share and will lend a sense of balance to that important project. The Eagle says, “I desire, therefore I create.” Out of our desire for each other, we create life. The children of your heart can be created by your wanting them. Realize the raw power of your creativity. Make something from nothing. Regenerate.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Demand for your presence increases, and your association with worthwhile projects gives spirit to your energy. Change the roster of services and vendors; there are some who could do the jobs more effectively. Different perspectives expand your horizons, especially when you make an effort to listen. Give away a valuable product or service because it no longer has relevance. It will mean the world to another. Spend time and money on image.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

There are instances of spoiled children in your environment because you and others failed to instill structure in current processes. Good parenting or administrating will be required to stop the hemorrhaging, and it should be done sooner rather than later. It matters not what they think of you; it’s not a popularity contest. Secretly, you will be admired for establishing order. Eventually you will be the hero, so bite the bullet.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You have terminal boredom with the usual suspects and are constantly tempted to break out and away. Several new associates could bring you comfort and satisfaction, but you have to reach out. Schedule quality time with those who intrigue you. They will provide the energy to re-engage with your world. An investment now contributes to rising values later. Enjoy your home.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
There are lots of meetings to engage investors, and a solid fiscal situation is in sight. Associates have become co-workers as you reach for a larger result. Great ideas will fizzle; many concepts are viable but before their time. File away the suggestion box for later application. Excuse yourself from ideas for their own sake; you are not running a focus group. Put a little aside for an unexpected expense next month.
