Recipe by The Body Deli in Palm Desert
1 cup finely ground Dead Sea salts
(or fine-ground sea salts)
1/4 cup organic raw cocoa butter, melted
1/4 cup organic olive oil (or jojoba, avocado, macadamia nut, etc.)
1/4 cup organic raw cocoa powder
1 dark chocolate truffle, finely grated
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well blended and smooth in texture. Stored in a closed container in the refrigerator, it should last up to two weeks.
To use: After showering, rinse off soap and turn water off. While still in the shower, take about 1 tablespoon of scrub and cream it up in your hands. Apply to the body in a circular motion, applying more as needed to cover the whole body, polishing skin smooth. When done, simply rinse off with warm water. Use twice a week, but avoid use right after shaving.
