April Horoscopes

Time to Reconsider Relationships

Mars is deer-in-the-headlights stationary all month. We will all experience its effects. You’ll be compelled to go back and check, relist, and analyze, figuring that you lack the data to proceed. You sense something is missing. It’s a critical time for relationships with vendors and service providers. We are the keepers of our own health. It’s time to follow through with that instinctive lifestyle change. For a personal reading, e-mail me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Recent challenges (meltdowns, rages, pity parties, threats, and fear of abandonment) have shaken you from the position of poster child for the unexamined life. Is your belief system able to see you through the storms? Have you adopted the qualities of forgiveness, letting go, serenity, and vision? Is your blood pressure normal? If not, it’s back to the bushes, scout!

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Jupiter aligns with the patient Bull, and solid speculations provide security. In this high point of “investment cycle,” pay yourself first. Allocate time and money for self-improvement. What looks like indulgence is actually your reward.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Buffeted by Mercury and Mars, it’s hard to coordinate thoughts and actions. While mutability is usually excellent for collecting data, the obsessive need for more is actually a refusal to commit. Use the domestic environment as a retreat to rebalance the inner and outer you. Answer yourself, and others will understand you.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
The Spanish description la escondida pertains to a meeting that is secretive, secluded, and spiritual. Drop out often. Look for a beautiful spot to sit with another and enjoy meaningful communication. Avoid squandering the “high healer” cycle. Share your intuitive ability to think for others for big results.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Since you lead with the heart and must love, you are often the center square of the game. Connections should be multiplied to get the right people together. A simple introduction or two could result in spectacular beginnings. Networking involves no heavy lifting, only protection and love of the pride.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The answer is out there. Scattered attention to everybody’s input could jinx the deal; follow up and catalog the bottom lines. Consider the source where thinkers cannot translate into doers. Listen more than talk. To your relief, a sought-after point will be made more than once. It will coalesce when you decide. More than doers, we are deciders.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You presence is requested at varied social events. It would seem that your involvement would guarantee success, as you are simpatico with the players. This makes you a broker, an extremely important factor. In light social settings, you are able to present ideas that are inclusive of the group and the greater good. Put a value on your service and bill upfront so that all know your worth.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Those in power bend your ear, spilling secrets and information you did not request. If their secrets are safe with you, they have invested in your future gains. Knowledge has potential, but the real advantage lies in withdrawing from the action in order to study and determine hidden motivations. These incredible facts are the victories of tomorrow. Grin and sit on it for now.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Patron saints of the full plate, you couldn’t be deeper in the buzz. Pulled in all directions, your ego is massaged by a feeling being wanted and valued. But do you want and value them? Discrimination often gets a bad name, yet it is an innate ability to separate truth and nonsense, saving time and emotional energy. Rehearse saying “no” with style and grace. Save yourself.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
New awareness of your image is a powerful tool for reaching an important goal. There is nothing phony about creating a first impression. Apply instincts for changes and test-drive them in the marketplace. It’s time to see yourself in a more assured setting, one that you create on your own. Use professionals for advice, and move to the front.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Make play dates with special others and immerse yourself in the attachments of the heart. Special moments renew your energy for the craziness of your world. Sexuality issues fascinate, as you study the effects of desire on final decisions. In asking, “What do they want?” you discover hidden reasons for confusing actions. With new clarity of judgment, you can proceed.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Reorganization is boring. Realize that a recent slowdown is a result of too many ingredients in the life stew. Let the fear gerbils mutter insecurities and the inane ideas department send endless memos. The mission is to simplify. Delete. Decline. Declutter. Taking it lightly ensures flight. Upward!
