April 2013 Horoscope

For High Mars, Seize the Day

Of particular celestial formations, I am often asked, “Is that good or bad?” The answer is not in our stars, but in ourselves. If you are experiencing a triple low lunar, that corporate meeting may not go so well. You are inclined to show your hand with an emotional reaction. But if you spent the day swimming a few laps and going to the movies, you would feel rejuvenated and ready for the world. That high Mars will bless initiating efforts; avoid wasting it in anger. For personal prognostication, email me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

Aries  (March 21-April 19)
Self-promotion can be effective now, if you walk softly with a big stick. Elbow your way to the front. Then be still. Your presence will speak for your position. When nothing remains to say, someone will say it — but not you. Your team will assemble. Weed out the third string. There’s no more time to instruct.

Taurus  (April 20-May 20)
Impatience will cause setbacks until you turn anger into action. Righteous rage is a good thing; it compels you to improve the situation. Increase your preferred spiritual practice. The inner surety will help you forge your way. And don’t look back. When you near the goal, look around. You’ve gathered a crowd. Great.

Gemini  (May 21-June 20)
It’s time to create and wallow in the big picture. Blessed with the gift of foresight, you can see ahead to great accomplishment. Ignore the naysayers. Flashy associates are not effective; you are better served by modest entities behind the scenes. Application of pop psychology to an irritant will provide an answer. Be firm.

Cancer  (June 21-July 22)
Nonstop professional demands can debilitate you. Assure all they will be served — when their number is called. Then re-establish your pace. If you apply a rare turbo overdrive, you will produce results with energy to spare. Keep health resolutions; you have no time for disability. Serenity in chaos is your strength.

Leo  (July 23-Aug. 22)
The people who value you most are least likely to tell you so. You have proven your worth. In your need for obeisance, you may overlook the real power standing in the shadows, waiting for results. In consciously taking time to impart knowledge, you become a master teacher and add stars to the crown. As you enlighten, lighten.

Virgo  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Run away for some creative time alone. From daydreams arise new goals and understanding. Communication in the marketplace is highly effective, and much is accomplished in short messages. Two schools of thought on an important project may co-exist in a new application. You’re on to something. Move from lecture to lab.

Libra  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Serve as chief of protocol for a well-intentioned but blustery leader. Provide the spin for public relations. A good idea has bad perception, and you can turn it around. My favorite Libra saying is, “You tell them to go to hell, and they look forward to the trip.” Run silky interference for the bull in the shop and you save a lot of china.

Scorpio  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Fight clutter. Streamline your environment for a return to focus. You can take a nurtured concept and begin to build a foundation and structure that will administrate it toward success. A friend who takes risks reveals secrets that dispel doubts. Follow your instincts in health matters, and be aware of your body. Breathe.

Sagittarius  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Old restrictions lose their grip, and your runway clears so new goals can takeoff. In letting go of accomplishments, you create space for a richer reality. The past is a canceled check. The future is a promissory note. Begin enthusiastic action, backed by strong knowledge. Optimistic truth-seeker, know and experience this: Today is cash!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your encouragement comforts people in your intimate circle, and your opinion may soften the approach of an overzealous warrior. Short trips for data-gathering break up pressing work demands. Slow down, and you will find you are more effective. Note recent emotional growth and apply it to your situation. Easy breezy.

Aquarius  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Closing out an old debt will open a world of options in your financial life. Do all you can to finish an obligation and pause for a minute to enjoy. A routine transaction puts you on a new level and raises your net worth. Success can be spectacular if you make the ultimate sacrifice of delayed gratification.

Pisces  (Feb. 19-March 20)
New beginnings provide an unprecedented field of options. Creative efforts behind the scenes have a possibility of reality when the time is right. A particular obsession saps your energy. When you understand your motivation and agenda, you will make decisions in your best interest. A release is near.
