Leo Roars Into View - Your Horoscope

There are more Leos and Leo ascendants than any other sign. Perhaps we are spinning through our most critical points of the solar system at this time. Saturn transits Leo for the next two years. Leo is the entertainment industry and Saturn is restriction. Leo is the monarchy and Saturn is fatherhood. Astrology is a language of time, fascinating to decode. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Do not make an important appointment durng the first two weeks of this month. Better to get away to read and eat and lie in the sun like a lizard on a rock. You have low charisma and high spirituality now. An inward journey will refocus scattered energies. That seething anger must be purged. You are not amused or amusing. Retreat.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You have acted "as if" for a long time, praying that they wouldn’t bust you. Give yourself credit for the last nine months of assuming a new position. Look around you and see a magnificent network of alliances. Travel a day or so to play with friends. Renew.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Stop grumbling about lack of glamour and do a little behind-the-scenes work on yourself. Invest in your health and image. The balance between night and day awakens a sophisticated season, where you always shine. October will be as spectacular as the hard work and preparation of these dog days.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Eagles retreat in the heat to caves on craggy mountaintops. In early morning and twilight hours, they soar over all they survey and catch a little meal. This year has been mostly retreat. You are doing your best from under a rock. A tense situation, born in the winter, will require a specific judgment and reaction. Know your heart.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Stop procrastinating and do that overhaul of your professional paperwork. You will find something that you had forgotten. When applied, it will lessen your load — a fabulous reward for some focus on the files. An employee or vendor is taking advantage. Perhaps you have a misconception of discrimination. Clean it up.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

That the alliance blew up is really good news. You were so sure that two heads were better than one, but not if one is doing twice the work. Let go, and that means no "woulda, coulda, shoulda" recriminations. You have restored an essential energy to yourself and can regenerate in record time. It’s all about you now.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Intimates have gotten into your personal space and on your last nerve. What was once charming is now alarming. Don’t be flattered by insecurity that masks itself as concern. You have attracted the fun police with your outrageous demands for an independent life. Be honest; truth sets you free.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Activities that should be fun are just more occasions where you must play psychiatrist for a frustrating group. You know intuitively where everyone should be; but they will be the last to know, and you can’t rush their enlightenment. Best to drop out and play with kids to get a different perspective on your whirlwind schedule.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Romantic frustration runs rampant through summer plans. Where you expected to have fun, there was none; and some dreams have dissolved in jarring realizations. Don’t try so hard. Curb your impetuous nature for your own sake. Establishing order in a new enterprise is imperative. Begin again.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Loved ones and kids clutter the domestic landscape and expect you to be the rock, as usual. There is joy in serving others, and you are most effective now as you pitch in with projects that are better with your involvement. Take time to appreciate the domestic space, as it nurtures growth on many levels.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

You work better alone this month; others are distracting, and you will lose focus. A concentrated personal study like science of the mind or miracles would benefit you now. Good mental habits must be learned and practiced, just like the rituals you keep for your physical health. Psychological health is a cornerstone of living well.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Plan a trip by yourself to visit loved ones. Set your own schedule; they’ll be accommodating, as they will be so glad to have you. Touch base with the many reasons you feel wealthy: your healthy and happy extended family. Romantic opportunities are everywhere; get your head out of the sand.
