Retrograde Disrupts, Calls for Flexibility

Leo Hevelius

Uranographia by Johannes Hevelius

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Financial health seemed so promising, and now there’s chaos in the details. Back to the drawing board for a big plan, you will realize that a better system will staunch the bleeding. You have the idea, but legions of minutiae are vital to success. Mid-September brings a coup that catapults.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Personal worth is subjective; only you can define your value. Any wavering and the piranhas demand discounts. It takes solid faith to maintain a fixed-rate card, and fear of rejection looms. Rather than suffering the fools who think they can do your job, slip away for rejuvenation.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Such a heavy alignment now! You are required to make long-range decisions and can’t set your own timetable. Trust is the issue. Know that you have excellent instincts. No second-guessing or asking for opinions. Realize an innocent situation can create a war. Subtly discern motivations.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
A recent goal needs full-throttle activism now if it’s viable. Apply your subzero passion to an immovable object until it cracks. When there is surrender, don’t beat a dead horse. When there is nothing left to be said, a Scorpio will say it. Quietly gloat. This win is a dish best served cold. Control yourself.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Stay under the radar now, as others tend to wrong impressions and jump to conclusions. The one-on-one is most effective; they need your full attention and exclusivity. A great Sagittarius had 1,500 at his funeral, and each one there thought he had been their best friend. Your best moments can illuminate.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
“Harrumph” is your mantra and should be embroidered on a couch pillow. Bette Davis’ pillow read “Old Age Ain’t For Sissies.” The last one standing wins all the toys, and you are solid as a rock. Turn on the charisma for several promising alliances — the better to secure commitments. They’re watching.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

The resources of your partners are available to you, and you will be more effective with borrowed ammunition. High attraction cycle means you have your pick on the dance floor, because everybody wants to dance with you. Sidestep those who are not worthy. Focus on the dazzle factor; become the light.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)

Clinging to an old tradition is passé. Realize it and open up to new concepts. The comfort gleaned soon turns to irrelevance. Know when to fold ’em and you go out on top. Your desire nature is in reformation mode. You will no longer want what was crucial. Be empty for a moment and savor the lightness.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Seven years ago, you were in a frantic building process. Now you are surrounded by accomplishment that is unruly and unrefined. With sharper focus, you will consider delegation so that you can concentrate on finesse. With leadership acknowledged, point the troops in the right direction. Be firm.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)

Crave fresh, raw food and fabulous fabrics, as you look toward your health and fitness. Take extra time to make special salads or hem and press a special cotton/linen. Create new habits in the kitchen and the closet that will streamline fall and winter activities. Break a needless habit easily.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
There are rest stops along the information highway that will save your soul. Turn it off and go clean a closet. Unplug and explore a new hiking path. Create a new order in the work environment that includes a secondary file. Out of sight, out of energy drain. Prioritize and let go of a lot. Make it simple.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
Invite special contacts to share your intimate space, and relax them into blurting out what you need to know. Your softer side can be effective; you elicit trust and stability. Foundations can be laid in a heartbeat when there is affinity. Make no rushed decisions; time is on your side. Exude serenity.
