Between the Lions, Loyalty and Heart Prevail
Maybe it’s gestational or based on the angle of the sun, but there are far more Leos than any other sign. Loyal and generous, Lions lead with the heart. Hollywood studios chose the lion as a brand, and the acting profession is dominated by Leo and Leo-rising types. Celebrity is a spinoff of the need for royalty, as we often raise actors to the level of kings. Leo is the joy of childhood, the love connection, sun god, heart of the solar system. LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
After lugubrious months of plodding, there is a light up ahead. You will do well now to cultivate the more traditional clientele, as something in your stalwart nature inspires trust. Your spiritual strength lies in refusing to lust after the outcome. Results can be much more intense than what you imagine. Let go when pressured, and your calm conquers limitation. Persevere.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Mercury retrograde undermines your confidence, as there is too much talk, too much information, and too many opinions. Drop out and let them miss you. Spend precious time realigning with sources of strength, and put your heart back in the equation. Though others have difficulty finding the light, some will be drawn to the beacon of your truth. Rather than lecturing, ask pertinent questions and withdraw.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Work is of the element earth — logic and reasoning. The trouble is that those in the workplace are run by emotional agendas now, and you are constantly putting out firestorms of feeling that leave you drained. The group has achieved a high level of taking it personally. Diversity has become difference, and taking a side is futile. Refuse to engage until there is progress. A vacation now would restore you.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

The resources of alliances are key to success, and they will be willingly proffered when you are able to communicate the vision of the end result. Alone, you are spinning your wheels, with gaps in many categories and impatience with stagnation. You need others, if only to fuel your raging creativity. Their input is minimal but crucial.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You have been mentoring, encouraging, and guiding a new group of leaders; and you are objective as you consider skills and contributions. Behind the scenes, but in a Wizard-of-Oz way, you control it all with the magnificence of your systems. When you survey all that you hath wrought, what do you want? Desire is the regenerator here. Stoke yours for a rebirth.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Significant others and wannabes clamor for your attention, using intricate webs of emotional connection. Don’t disregard feelings near the surface. You have much to gain by acknowledging the virtues of an intuitive contribution. Blessed with wit, that gut feeling that is razor sharp, you are able to make safe choices and productive partnerships. You are pregnant with possibility. Be kind to yourself.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
For a while now, you have been running on the unexamined-life ticket. There was no need for introspection when you were so busy. With objective concerns addressed, you know what is good for everybody but you. Aquarians only change radically and permanently, and you are avoiding the inevitable. Worry not. Soon you will grow a spine and astound all. Refocus on yourself to find your answer.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Why do you feel so homeless and drifting now? It’s hard to generate energy from the domestic site, and it’s hard to sleep well. Examine your emotional reactive habits; realize where they block forward motion. Consciously choose to react totally different than you did last time. Shattering their expectations is a good first move. Reach further into the world to get a clear reflection.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Usually fearless, you will have periods of isolation during which no one can reach you. Use this period of low tide to rest and recuperate from the wars. Sit this month on a beach, if only in your meditation. Stare slack-jawed into the waves and sleep, perchance to dream. Give generous hugs and loving words, building a stronger warrior for the fall.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Have you invested in top-of-the-line communication gear? Stop fretting about cost and realize it’s time to join the air traffic, zipping along with the waves of dialog. You will suddenly see that life has shifted, and you are in the fast lane. It’s a lucky time for visiting friends who feel like family. Get in the car.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)

There’s a little home-based business, a cottage industry, that beckons. As loved ones tend to dump too much information in your in-box, distractions in the form of success strategies can lift your spirits. Remember that their angst is not yours. Be loving, but distance yourself from emotional meltdowns. Use feeling as intuition and remember history. This contributes to a renewed sense of security.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)

Mars with your sun and Mercury retrograde challenge you to not take anything personally. Raw response must turn into a passive sense of story line, and the ability to envision a strong future. Consider history, and know that you learned with all that discomfort. You are not doomed to repeat. Do not compromise on what you need in a home. Feather your own nest.
