Keep Your Reactions in Check For Now

Venus joins the Pluto-Uranus square this month, and we’re all affected. Notice how you are more emotional due to a strong gut-instinct reaction? Aries in the mix drives us with a righteous anger. Aries is brave enough to begin the new, but the victim of its own schemes with a modus operandi of “When in doubt, do something!” Step back, chill out, and figure the expedient way to begin again. LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
Several authentic egotists orbit your personal space. Communications are misfiring because they are backed by a “Don’t they know who I am?” attitude. Though many have contributed admirably, their fear of what others think has thrown up a wall of mixed messages. Assuage these tortured souls as only you can. Remove the bloated nothingness and you may have a worthwhile endeavor. Be magnanimous and regal.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Jupiter squares you now. Inundated with new data and ideas, you are dizzy with the big picture. A new plan includes you, but it’s your responsibility to decide if the general purpose coincides with your particular philosophical bent. If you do not share a basic ethereal connection (moral code or sense of purpose), you are merely being shown the kingdoms of the world. Be selective, not seduced by grandeur.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Saturn is almost done with you (through Oct. 6), and you can soon stop singing the blues. Be your own inner attorney. Know the terms of all agreements and make sure you are comfortable with the distribution. Imagine a seesaw. Are you sitting and they are mid-air? Are you swaying precariously and they are terra firma? These are not contracts. A contract is when both are happy with the other’s input.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You think you need certain individuals — and you do, but not necessarily for the purpose you have in mind. The resources of others can be more beneficial than their personal efforts. Ask them their opinion. What would they do? Flattered that you would ask, they become more emotionally invested in your success and offer referrals. Follow up on these suggestions. A paradigm shift is possible.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Networking is on overdrive; you can easily link promising partnerships with the ease of an e-mail list. Your force lies in initiation, so don’t linger. Start things wherever you go; connect those with shared interests and move on. Details and plans are not important. Sprinkle the fairy dust of new alliances and beginnings, and fly on to the next galaxy. Be incognito for a few days; the right calls will get through.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
An associate is prone to posturing, and your old-soul common sense is annoyed. Look beyond irritating personal quirks to the real deal and determine the usefulness of this individual and his or her connections. Apply psychology concepts to uncomfortable social situations so that you can be tolerant enough to get value from the event. You have a strong mother wit about health issues. Be proactive to heal and thrive.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
All the best-laid plans went retrograde — one step forward and two back. Some attempts were premature and can be slipped back into the agenda when there is more understanding. You are on the edge of a breakthrough and probably will have to pene-trate rigid standard operating procedures. You are a maverick; hone your delivery to shock less and unite more.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
Sizzling summer drains your cool energy (unless you’re poolside). Two home sites serve you; utilize each for its own soothing charm. Highly subconscious, you sleepwalk through much of your day, and you are blessed with visions of winter success. Pay attention to the outside world enough to avoid household accidents and fender benders. Then scurry back to the hammock and dream.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Jupiter demands constant movement, so keep a basic bag packed and ready. Short trips beckon you out of the neighborhood, and you feel at home in an unusual environment. Reconnect with siblings and neighbors to catch everybody up with the new status quo. When they know, they will show up for what happens next. Show your hand for a new wave of support and, yes, love. No secrets will lighten you.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
Two projects demand your attention now, and they are equally lucrative. You have been gathering information in lecture mode; it’s time to hit the lab to make thoughts reality. How can you apply all this data? A structured format will turn ideas and assets into a workable effort and positive cash flow. Invest in yourself with a tenfold-return consciousness.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Jupiter in your sign for the next 12 months is classically a time of abundance. But argh! There’s no room for anything big and new. Mental and environmental clutter stands between you and a new beginning (on a much higher level). Along with stuff, cast out ideas that are impractical and associations that are dormant. Make room for newness by letting go of the old. Jupiter will give you more.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
A turbulent emotional cycle is easing, as you are more inclined to lighten up and relinquish control. Know that autumn brings a healing period of renewed focus. Fear is false evidence appearing real, and your inner guru nags you into a positive mindset. Act on intuitive urges to initiate contact for mutually beneficial results. They anticipate your approach and are ready to participate. Be serene.
