The full-color photograph of Desert Rat Harry Oliver on our cover this month was taken by George Lindblade. He is well known for his Desert area photographic art and spent many hours at Fort Oliver compiling this and other photos used in the story, in both black and white and color. In addition to Lindblade's photo contributions to Palm Springs Life, he also owns and operates the Camera Center in Cathedral City.
