An Uncomfortable Truth

Sherryl Nova

Jupiter and Pluto align for the first time since December 1994. We are all affected by a major alignment, and this one in Sagittarius is the culmination of a year of uncomfortable truth. Saturn in Virgo (accountability) will influence us two more years, and Pluto in Capricorn (responsibility) settles in soon. There will be renewal. Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is one of the most important seasons of your lifetime. An undeniable truth is manifesting, despite your best efforts to ignore it. You reside in an emotional shell that’s cracking. Though you may feel that alliances are eternal, there is rampant instability and you are powerless. Letting go will free you. There will be so much more.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
A partner requires many levels of support now. Give like you’re Santa. You can be of service to the cause of another that will benefit you greatly later. Guidance is a gift that must be given gently. If a loved one stumbles, don’t take up their burden; simply offer sustenance along the way. A spiritual life provides serenity and grace.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
A health issue raises its ugly head, and you are secretly concerned. But it’s the health of your psyche that’s the root cause. In the middle of a cycle of weeks of low-grade discomfort, you would get much from self-help. There’s a book or class out there that will strengthen your inner core. Study your mind.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
With your ethereal laissez-faire attitude, you absorb many levels of mysticism that support you. By applying a down-to-earth yet philosophical approach to a chronic problem, you replace vinegar with honey in the bear trap. The (loud) doubts of others should not ruffle you. Faith restores your confidence in the order in the universe.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
An emotional ennui drifts in and out. It can ruin your joy; but you, of all signs, know that there are no victims, only volunteers. Your strength will come from a genuine supportive vibe, a suspension of judgment, and expectation of the highest and best. Many want to please you; don’t take their missteps personally. Be grateful.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is a highly creative time, from arts and crafts to new aspirations. Communication comes in bits and pieces. Wait for all the data to react. Obligations to siblings or the community may require short trips. A solution is very near in a longstanding quandary. Answers are in the neighborhood.
A friend offers a valuable resource. Lucky you.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It’s a great cycle for self-improvement. You’re the race car in the pit stop. Take care of all those little details that comprise your good health and your personal style. Start a diet/exercise resolution, get treatments, and shop for accoutrements. Your social impression reflects the care you have been lavishing on yourself. Overhaul it all.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
You are at the top of your job level. That makes you a master teacher. However, the teacher is a servant of the student. Graciously accept the position of instructor, choose the students who are ready, and prepare to do some of your best work. Your knowledge attracts those who ignore your ego and support your work. Perfect.

Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
There’s no place like home for the holidays. Venus smiles on your home sector and encourages special entertaining that is intimate but lavish. Lay aside the world for a few days and embrace the spirit of the time. The last two years of frustration are waning. Gather the power of your personal space and face the world next month.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Unexpected incidents of primal excitement happen over simple introductions. New friends are not meant to be enduring, but there is a project that can be accomplished. Be flexible and ready to snatch an opportunity born of a recent alliance. The usual suspects are experiencing technical difficulties. Look to the new, the alternatives.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You have excellent skills of mother/farmer at work. Your nurturance has fed a major crop that looks so promising. But now you must fight the soil, the elements, and the pests. Your inner mommie feels so neglected. What you feel is not necessarily reality, but more like your reaction to it. Take nothing personally and you will grow.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Fair-weather associates are eager to share (or maybe hijack) recent glories. Stay in the back row. Hide and watch. Your personal power is not diminished by small players. An emotional block within you is your real enemy. With a magnanimous serenity, you will gain a solid ally and a reputation for cool. Both serve you well.
