Meet the Coachella Valley’s finest dentists and specialists as chosen by their peers

Finding the right dentist can be daunting and frustrating. What you need is a strong recommendation from a trustworthy source. This is why Palm Springs Life has partnered with Royal Oak, Mich.-based Professional Research Services to study the field of Coachella Valley dentists and report back.
Hour Media, publisher of Hour Detroit — which has long conducted its own research to determine the region’s best doctors, dentists, and lawyers — launched PRS to produce similar studies and features for other city and regional magazines, including this peer-reviewed list for Palm Springs Life.
PRS contacted more than 300 licensed general dentists and dental specialists in the Greater Palm Springs area. The voting was open to all licensed dentists in Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, and Coachella. These dentists were asked which dentists they would recommend in general and specialty areas. Each dentist could recommend up to three colleagues in each specialty. Once the online nominations were complete, PRS carefully evaluated each nominee on the basis of the survey results, the legitimacy of their license, and their current standing with the State Dental Board of California.
