Celebrate the Harvest As Consciousness Grows

Sherryl Nova

From ancient times, the solstice represented a time of completion, when crops were stored for market. Since the work was finished, it was time for celebration, a time when the best and finest of the harvest was shared. With Aquarius and Sagittarius prominent, we are able to intellectualize and understand each other in a spirit of higher consciousness. For a personal reading, e-mail me at sherrylnova@aim.com.

SAGITTARIUS  (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
For 60 days you are primed for spectacular achievement. Are the ducks in a row? If not, rush to organize, as order is the fuel of this mission. From the confidence of knowing the value of your crop, you are expected to get the best commodity price. An inclusive attitude works wonders. Indecisive periods push progress retrograde. Make a declarative statement daily to stay on top.

CAPRICORN  (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Back to the drawing board. With a flexible attitude and willingness to backtrack and redesign, you can create a solid and attractive product or service. It’s a high cycle for public relations; attend every viable function. Honor the sincerity of a clandestine connection, as it isn’t anyone else’s business at this point. Keep creative urges under the radar.

AQUARIUS  (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Your presence is requested at many holiday gatherings. Consider all the combinations of new friends that can be encouraged if you were to host an event. Your gifts to friends for the festivities should be other friends. You don’t need to be a matchmaker, but, rather, a catalyst. Your connections are ready to multiply. Some departed this year, each place filled by a regenerated situation. So let go.

PISCES  (Feb. 19-March 20)
If what’s carved in stone is beginning to break down to shifting sands, be glad. There is an I Ching concept that says, ‘Whoever stays too long misses the ending.” What appears to be a loss is merely an ending, a closure, a purpose that has finality. Be, for a time, empty. Savor the clean feel of personal space. Nature abhors a vacuum, and you will have much larger horizons almost immediately.

ARIES  (March 21-April 19)
Too much of a good thing is holding you back. Ruthlessly examine stacks of stuff, and be willing to pass on what is passé. Give with no intention of tracking your largesse. It’s not large enough to even remember. What is most important is the space you are freeing up to create a streamlined image. Use of a personal system will restore order and stimulate forward motion. Get on it.

TAURUS  (April 20-May 20)
A speculative situation is intriguing and deserves your frequent attention. Although there is no bottom line currently, various line items will manifest and bring you closer to an actual plan. Manifestation is probable, although on an extended time line. By spring, you will know if this change of course is for you. Calculate the investment you are willing to ante, then add a little more.

GEMINI  (May 21-June 20)
Reconfiguration of personal square footage will make you happy as a design show winner. A new way to organize will monopolize your time until it frees you up to enter the marketplace with more focus and determination. Demand a sense of style in places where only you will benefit, and emotional satisfaction is a result. Peace of mind is beautifying. You’ll look great.

CANCER  (June 21-July 22)
An important alliance is forming where your protection is paramount, and you will be grateful for the support of powerful allies. You are in a position of offer an invaluable service to this partnership, and the result is a win-win. Growing trust adds to the possibility of deeper ties; you will know how much you are valued. Be gracious in accepting the love you did not imagine. It’s real.

LEO  (July 23-Aug. 22)
In the midst of holiday merriment, you are offered serious business opportunities. How strong are your employees or vendors? They can help you seal this deal and assist with the necessary analytical decisions. Royalty is only as strong as their servants, and you are ready to depend on many of their skills. The heavy lifting will be done by others. Contribute to the spirit.

VIRGO  (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Reign in your exacting mind during this month of Mars in Virgo. Your critical faculties have never been sharper; but so is your delivery, and that scares folks. Use raw energy to restore a sense of order in recent projects, and be willing to get in the trenches with the troops to get an understanding of the big picture. Bestow a bonus for work well done. It’s an investment.

LIBRA  (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is your solar month of withdrawal. Schedule a retreat or two; be one of those perceptive folks who get away for the holidays. Any more attention to those to-do lists and you will slip into obsession. If your absence is strong, you will be missed. Your value increases exponentially as you remain unavailable. They can wait.

SCORPIO  (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Draw a triangle. Connect it to another. And another. Doodle this sketch until you get the power of your immediate network. Then dial out. You may not have the answer, but your contact has a contact for you, and success may be just that close. Honor group and organizational obligations, and know that friends have your back. It’s an effective month for connections, so reach out.
