Capra-esque Cocktails and Literary Coverups.
The George Bailey from La Quinta Resort & Club.
As part of its celebration as being the place where Frank Capra wrote the holiday classic It’s a Wonderful Life, restaurants at La Quinta Resort & Club offer (through Dec. 31) two original cocktails based on the main characters. The George Bailey (above) includes Bailey’s Original, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, white crème de cacao, and gingerbread syrup and is served with a burning cinnamon stick. The Mary Bailey Pumpkin Martini includes house-infused pumpkin vodka, spiced pumpkin liqueur, Bailey’s Irish Cream, Taza chai tea latte, and half & half.
