Horoscope - December 2013

In the Age of Change be True to You

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

The Pluto-Uranus Square that influenced chaos this year remains strong through 2014. Capricorn and Aries represent the powers that be and total anarchy. We rest on the quality of our individual reactions to the turbulence. How do we know we are in an age of change? Look at your parents, and then your children. There is not a generation between them, but a civilization. For a personal reading, email me at sherrylnova@aim.com — By Sherryl Nova

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Boredom drives frustration, and you overload your dance card, afraid you might miss something. You would be wise to cut back on meaningless activity and go within for extended time. You sense a need for radical changes, but lack direction. Stop sending, and concentrate on reception. When the mind is quiet, answers appear.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Pluto in your sign is the burr under your saddle of complacency. A structure that you have built and long trusted becomes meaningless, threatening your peace of mind. It will be uncomfortable to destroy an old system, but the rebuilding will re-energize your sense of purpose and place. Destroy in order to rebuild.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Step away from the pack to widen your vision. Be willing to strike out on your own. Somebody has to forge a new way, and none is more qualified than you. Associates morph into friends as your efforts create a template for future projects. Like minds surround you. Take the lead to draw them out.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
Though devastated by change, you can manifest a rapid recovery. Let go of expectations. You have a chance to re-create reality more to your liking when you have the freedom of release. If you say, “It’ll never be the same,” remember that it never was the same in the first place. Each ending leaves a void, and nature abhors a vacuum.

Aries (March 21-April 19)
Uranus in your sign contributes kinetic energy and a need to move rapidly when stressed. Be ready to turn on a dime, to reach out for change for its own sake. New beginnings are fortunate. Others may think of you as impetuous, but a lightning force renews you and contributes to your growth. Just do it.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)
This is a time of investment, when instant gratification and rebates are scarce. You are preparing for an upward spiral in the near future. What you are building is strong and will support future efforts. You may feel like the tortoise, but remember what happened: He won.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It’s time to build your net worth, adding value to your portfolio in diverse ways. You will benefit by applying your personal value system to investments. Put your money where your mouth is, and all will be well. A trip home solves mysteries.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Sort and implement all of your hunches and gut instincts. A slight adjustment in perception unveils a bigger scenario. Adding zeros to the payday is beyond possible. A sharp psyche is at peace with this gestation period, and nurtures the crop for a healthy harvest. Make dietary changes based on recent information.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You’re fading from the Sturm und Drang in order to have an encounter with yourself. You can’t be right for somebody else if you’re not right for you. You become unfocused, but remain totally objective. You know what your friends, relatives, and associates require. What about you?

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your contacts are your wealth, and you’re only two contacts from your goal. Friends and group associates have answers for the completion of projects. Contacts in finance can help tweak your spreadsheet. Listen for fun and profit.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Old financial streams may dry up, but you are not unlucky. It may be time to play a hunch or score through the demise of an old institution or individual. You can use wills, probate, jointly held assets, insurance, and your personal value system to advance your fiscal picture. Above all, invest in yourself.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
One year is down, and there’s one more to go for Saturn in your sign. The eagle does not fear destruction. You have created much from nothing. The law of physics says that in order to create new matter, you must first provide the void. Drive old paint out of the garage to make room for the Maserati.
