Coachella 2013: Ace Hotel Offers Desert Gold

The Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs is providing Coachella 2013 Music and Arts Festival goers another alternative to keep the party going.

Last weekend's start to Desert Gold presented a variety of music, eats and dancing. Attendees could also visit the Third Records Pop-up Shop.

Miss Lily's presented Caribbean rhythms by Spliffington, DJ Autograph, MC RytAway and Max Glazer, and dancehall dancers featuring Miss Likkle Bit on April 12 in the Amigo Room.

On April 13,  Miss Lily's sound system presented Big Black Matt, Spliffington, MC RytAway, DJ Autograph and Max Glazer, and dancehall dancers featuring Miss Likkle Bit, poolside followed by the nighttime edition with Miss Lily's DJs Max Glazer and DJ Autograph, and dancehall dancers featuring Miss Likkle Bit joining forces with the local Stronghold crew in the Amigo Room.

Desert Gold closed its initial stint April 14 with more rhythm music poolside provided by Miss Lily's DJs Big Black Matt, Spliffington, MC RytAway, DJ Autograph and Max Glazer. In the afternoon, The Do Over rocked with Haycock, Strong & Blacc followed by Howie Pyro playing psycho soul, voodoo R&B, '60s garage bands, all on 45s.

The evening closed with the Desert Gold party led by dancehall star Screechy Dan, Spliffington, MC RytAway, DJ Autograph and Max Glazer, and dancehall dancers featuring Miss Likkle Bit.
