When Club Member and developer Elizabeth Benton recently unveiled this newly built spec home, the first in over a decade, she launched a new era of fully automated and architecturally distinct homes within The Vintage Club.

Placed strategically on a south-facing oversized lot, the home brims with walls of glass that disappear to capitalize on unrivalled views. Its new residents will sink into a double-fairway view and panoramas of Eisenhower Mountain, the valley’s  signature vista.

Built on one level for an organic flow without stairs or step-downs, her new home also showcases six large contemporary fireplaces and an inventive range of the latest materials. Aluminum metal cladding dips into the modern realm while exterior stone cladding blends with the desert environs and mountain backdrop. A spa retreat master bath soothes with white quartzite countertops. In the kitchen, limestone and quartz meet the bold countertop of 2.5-inch-thick glass. For a playful surprise at any party, the bar’s countertop illuminates via LED light pads underneath.

Automated glass pocket doors slide open across the expansive patio. “At night it’s all aglow with overhead heaters, outdoor fireplaces, fire pits around the pool, and another fire element in the entry courtyard,” Benton adds.

The home signifies the next wave of a true renaissance that has touched every facet of the Club. Following a $25 million renovation, the reimagined clubhouse takes a soft modern approach, and the Vintage Market now joins the elegantly appointed LakeView Grille and poolside Palm Court restaurants.

One of two Tom Fazio 18-hole golf courses was lauded with the “2015 Best New Re-Design” by Golf Digest. Benton’s pioneering masterpiece well represents this new era. It unequivocally refreshes the real estate spirit in an oasis that has, from the beginning, been born of the tradition and the relentless pursuit of beauty and excellence.
