Celebrating the magic, imagination and spirit of the American Southwest, Adagio Galleries is Palm Desert’s premier source for collectible fine art. Now in its 31st year, Adagio — in its newly expanded 5,000-squarefoot gallery space — showcases internationally recognized artists, including the late Navajo artist R.C. Gorman and contemporary masters such as painter B.C. Nowlin, mask-maker Davie Sisk, and wildlife sculptor Joshua Tobey.

Adagio Galleries has one of the largest collections of work by R.C. Gorman and has exhibited the collection on President’s Day weekend for more than 25 years. The public is invited to view this prestigious exhibition on Saturday, February 19, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The art of Adagio Galleries vibrates with boundless energy, revealed in a spectrum of styles from vivid oil and watercolor paintings to dazzling glass, to abstract art and bronze sculptures. With more than 30 artists on exhibit, Adagio Galleries is a must-see experience for students, collectors, and visitors alike.
