Fashion conscious guests planning for the “Splash House: Palm Springs Pool + Music Weekend” won’t have to worry about what’s trending in swim party attire.

Chelsea Lane Bodywear, purveyor of fine brand name swim and underwear, will be on deck with sister company, Destination PSP, as event merchandise sponsors at the Aug. 10-11 event retailing iconic Palm Springs products and modeling the perfect pool-side look.

“Splash House” is a two-day progressive pool party featuring more than 30 musical artists at three hotels in Palm Springs: The Saguaro, The Curve, and Caliente Tropics. Shuttle service will be available between the three hotels.

Chelsea Lane Bodywear, which focuses on swim and bodywear, lingerie, bridal, shape wear, lounge wear and accessories, will give away more than $2,500 in product at the event, according to Jeffrey Bernstein, co-owner of Chelsea Lane Bodywear with Dr. Oscar Chamudes.

“We will debut our retro-styled Esther Williams and Betty Page swimwear lines this weekend,” he says.

Likewise, Destination PSP carries high quality collections of apparel, accessories, and gift items. Much of their merchandise gives tribute to the quintessential Palm Springs look with “mid-century” inspired designs featuring colors such as citrus, orange, and turquoise.

“We feel there is a significant unfulfilled demand in Palm Springs for such brand name, quality products. We carry major brands such as Diesel, Hugo Boss, Prima Donna Le Mystere, C-IN2, Spanx, Cosa Bella and dozens of others,” says Bernstein (pictured right).

"Splash House" merchandise provided by Chelsea Lane Bodywear and Destination PSP will be available for purchase at their mini- boutique located at the Saguaro Hotel. Both companies’ products are currently available on-line and at Raymond|Lawrence, the popular retail incubator in the heart of the Palm Springs Uptown Design District.

“Having both Chelsea Lane and Destination PSP located in Raymond|Lawrence has been extremely important to both businesses,” says Bernstein. “With Raymond|Lawrence we have the luxury of built-in traffic and awareness, along with all of the retail management support, while we test and grow our businesses.”

Destination PSP has gained recognition as official merchandisers for both Palm Springs Modernism Week and the Palm Springs International Film Festival with plans to further develop its product lines and grow retail locations.

“A dedicated retail space will allow us to focus on the products for the Palm Springs lifestyle, our designs and products, along with merchandise from the areas charities, non-profits, events, and organizations,” Bernstein says.

He has similar plans for Chelsea Lane. “While we certainly plan to remain with a retail presence at Raymond|Lawrence, we will, in the near future, expand to our own Chelsea Lane retail flagship store in Palm Springs,” Bernstein says.

Bernstein hopes “Splash House” will become an annual summer celebration. “’Splash House’ has great music, activities, and a fun party atmosphere. With the addition of shopping and select merchandise, guests will be able to enjoy the ultimate weekend experience,” he says.

"Splash House" admission prices and room stay packages vary with wristbands and tickets for access to all three pools and select after parties. Individual day admission passes are also available for purchase.
