Desert Tasty Tours takes to El Paseo in Palm Desert

With the opening of Desert Tasty Tours, locals and visitors will have the opportunity to taste their way through El Paseo, Palm Desert’s upscale shopping and art district. Desert Tasty Tours is a three-hour, guided culinary and cultural stroll that combines enticing food tastings with historical, architectural and unique insights from a local guide.

Tours, which kick off January 11, 2012, are offered Wednesdays through Saturdays through April and begin at 11 a.m. Each tour accommodates up to 16 people and includes tastings at six different restaurants/specialty shops. The walking food tour covers approximately two miles, is suitable for all fitness levels and is most appropriate for ages 13 and up.

“Our food tour is a fun, casual way to sample the sights, sounds and flavors of Palm Desert.
