Exhibition: Where Are The Tipis?, featured at the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum

Agua Caliente Cultural Museum will open a new exhibition, Where are the Tipis?...the changing perceptions about Indians, on Wednesday, November 7 with a public reception from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Museum. All are welcome and admission is free.    

Views of Indians, past and present, are often based on misinformation. Where are the Tipis? provides insights into these perceptions and how they have been perpetuated. The exhibition will run through October 20, 2013.

The Museum is open September through May -- Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Sunday, noon to 5:00 pm; June through August -- Friday and Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Sunday, noon to 5:00 pm.
