POW Ernst Brace is the longest American POW in Vietnam History. Held for almost eight years, he faced starvation, sickness, torture, solitude and desperation. After 3 1/2 years he was transported from the jungle to the infamous Vietnam prison known as Hanoi Hilton, where he finally heard the voice of another American: Lt.
