Thursday, June 6th Computer Basic Skills class at the Palm Springs Public Library. 
This hands-on, free class is offered once a month but advanced registration is required as the class size is limited to 6 participants.  The class is from 10:00-11:30 a.m. in The Learning Center (TLC).  To register, come in to the Library or call and ask to speak to a Librarian.  The Palm Springs Public Library is located at 300 S. Thursday, June 6th, 13th, 20th, & 27th ‘It’s Story Time’ at the Palm Springs Public Library.  Looking for an enriching and engaging activity for your children, come to the Library for Story Time. Each month has a different theme and focus for story times. READ-TO-ME is a time for toddlers who are walking, up to age 3, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. There will be stories and songs and playtime with other children.  For those BUSY-FINGERS, children ages 3 - 5 years old, they will enjoy stories and crafts just for them from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. For more information call 760-322-READ (7323) or log on to www.palmspringslibrary.org.  The Palm Springs Public Library is located at 300 S. Friday, June 7th Anime/Manga Club for Tweens and Teens at the Palm Springs Public Library. Talk about all your favorite manga, watch anime episodes, and keep up with what’s new and coming soon to the fantastic world of Japanese animation! Plus, NEW FOR SUMMER, explore the language learning tool MANGO and learn to better understand MANGA in its native tongue. Enjoy refreshments and sometimes…prizes! This program is for Tweens and Teens, grades 6th – 12th, and will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Youth Story Room, the FIRST FRIDAY of EVERY MONTH. Sign-up for this 4-hour intensive course that will assist you in learning how to use your computer, the Internet, email, formatting skills and more!  You’ll learn tips and shortcuts, how to shop safely on the Internet and will receive detailed hand-outs that you can refer back to when needed.  This hands-on, FREE course is offered to those that want to move past basic skills. Advanced registration is required as the class size is limited.  This class will be from 12:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in The Learning Center (TLC).  To register, come in to the Library or call and ask to speak to a Librarian.  The Palm Springs Public Library is located at 300 S.
