Pilobolus, Mon, Mar 31, 2014 - 8:00 pm
With more than 40 years of imaginative creative exploration, Pilobolus Dance Theatre has evolved into a pioneering cultural fixture in American dance. Founded in 1971 by a group of untrained dancers at Dartmouth College, Pilobolus has achieved monumental recognition for its radically innovative performances onstage and onscreen. This ground-breaking collective creates a minimum of two original works each year, featuring its distinctive choreography and gravity-defying formations that challenge the limits of the human body and leave viewers enthralled. "Forget 'they make it look easy' — when the dancers of Pilobolus Dance Theatre perform, they make it look all but impossible," says The Philadelphia Inquirer.
