Break out your dancing shoes and come on down to the Palm Springs Pavilion this fall for ballroom dancing every Wednesday evening now through April. Complimentary classes begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by formal ballroom dancing at 7 p.m. in the City’s beautiful 10,000 square foot air conditioned pavilion, 401 S. Pavilion Way. The new season will kick off with a special month of CD nights featuring the sounds of DJ Steve Hansmeyer. Admission is just $5 per person for CD nights and $7 for live band nights which begin in October. Dance mixers are featured at each event and singles are welcome! “Ballroom dancing is tons of fun and great exercise,” according to Sharon Heider, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Whether you’re a an old hand or just learning, I encourage Palm Springs residents to come join us at the pavilion every Wednesday night and get into the swing!” For more information on ballroom dancing, call Michele Cirone-Collier at (760) 323-8272. |
