In the mood for a one of a kind, enchanted getaway to ring in the New Year?

If your idea of the perfect “holiday” involves a quintessentially modern desert experience with ultimate pampering, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage has a room in mind.

The living area offers comfort and intimacy.

Booking the Ritz-Carlton Suite (otherwise known as the Presidential Suite) gives you and your loved one access to the hotel’s finest guest accommodations, top notch services and elite Club Lounge access.

Upon arrival, take in your new room with more than 1,300 square feet of living space. Then indulge in a custom made cocktail, coined by the Ritz as “first date” on the Ritz-Carlton Suite’s posh patio setting. Unwind and enjoy the views of the mountains and desert floor while perched 650 feet above the valley.

Check out the view of the Coachella Valley from the suite's patio.

Prior to the evenings festivities, have your private butler escort you to the Spa for the resorts signature couple treatment, Spirit of the Mountains.

Dine in the suite New Year's Eve night and miss the hassles of going to a restaurant.

Dine at the hotel to partake in sumptuous menu selections such as octopus, lamb shank, rib eye and Tomahawk steaks paired with an international wine list. Or choose to savor the food as well as the refined ambiance at the hotel’s brand new restaurant, The Edge, during this month’s inaugural debut (opening Dec. 17)

The Ritz-Carlton has planned a New Year’s celebration including dancing with the Bobby Moses Trio from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with a special balloon drop at midnight to signal the rise of 2015.

For a special twist, return to your Ritz-Carlton Suite to be served a decadent “chocolate mountain” while you view the night sky. End your evening with a  “turn down service” made to your specifications.

Sleep in New Year's Day in style.

Finally, sleep in…it’s New Year's Day after all. Take morning breakfast in your bathrobe, get some sun poolside, exercise with a beautiful hike or visit the State Fare Restaurant for a celebration buffet.
