Housed in a remodeled 1928 Palm Springs casa, Las Casuelas Terraza reflects four generations of the Delgado family's hard work and fine cooking. Maria and Florencio (Del) Delgado opened their first Las Casuelas in the heart of Palm Springs in 1958. The delicious family recipes handed down from Florencio's grandmother quickly won over locals. Over the next few decades, the Delgado family opened four more Mexican restaurants. Each location has a unique ambiance, but all live up to Maria and Del's commitment to representing the vivid culture and history of Mexico through superior cuisine, interior design, and architecture. Las Casuelas Terraza is operated by third- and fourth-generation Delgado family members Patricia Delgado and Patrick Service.
When in Palm Springs, sit in the downtown location's popular patio for al fresco dining with nightly live music and dancing under the stars. Create your own plate with traditional enchiladas, tacos, tamales, tostadas, chile rellenos, or burritos. Order the Camarones Diablos — large shrimp wrapped in crispy bacon served with mildly spicy diablo sauce — or the Camarones Al Mojo de Ajo — succulent shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic — for a fresh, exciting taste of the sea. Enjoy one of the many crisp, refreshing house salads with their signature homemade dressings. Choose from the palapa bar's libation menu, which includes more than 18 margaritas and the Tequila Hall of Fame, featuring 75 of Mexico's finest, rare tequilas.
Las Casuelas Terraza's cuisine and service have been recognized by Hispanic Magazine as "One of the Top 50 Hispanic Restaurants" in the nation and as one of the "Top 21 Mexican Restaurants in America" by the editors of Thrillist.
