Explore fresh, flavorful Thai dishes made with the finest ingredients at the original Thai Smile of the desert. A taste of authentic Thai food with traditional roots in a friendly, modern atmosphere.

Thai Smile Palm Springs was established in 1991 by Yim Priddy, whose first name is the Thai word for "smile." Current owners are Yim's son, Mai, and his wife, Noi, who moved to Palm Springs in 1996 from Boston.

To ensure the highest food quality and consistency of flavors, Mai continues to follow family recipes and personally trains each chef himself. Every dish is expertly and individually prepared to order using crisp young vegetables delivered daily, premium fresh meats and seafood (never any MSG).

Mai and Noi seek out little-known Thai markets in LA & Bangkok where they hand-select exotic spices, herbs & chiles to perfectly complement their cuisine. Noi trains her servers to be competent, courteous and well-equipped to answer all menu questions. Healthy never tasted so good!
