Crowds pack events 'cause they love their Modernism



A good crowd came to the opening of m Modern Gallery in North Palm Springs Friday night.

A select audience lined up at the Palm Springs Convention Center Friday night to gain an early look at the 13th annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale featuring 80 exhibitors from across the country and Atlantic Ocean.

A plethora of 20th century design included furniture, lighting, sculpture, paintings, jewelry, silver, glass, ceramics, photography, textiles, posters, prints, rugs, and vintage clothing and accessories.

Uptown in North Palm Springs, the Martini Kings kept the beat and a steady stream of people came to view “Retro a Rama” at the m modern Gallery.

Featured artists included Shag, Tim Biskup, Glenn Barr, Chris Reccordi, Lynne Naylor, BECCA and Phillip Lumbang, RAD, Aaron Marshall, Kevin Kidney and Jody Dailey, Basko and STONE.
