Vintage Travel Trailer Show
This is a fun tour of some amazing trailers that have been maintained or restored and a chance to talk to the owners. They will be parked behind the Palm Springs Hilton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Feb. 22-23.

FILM
"Broken Circle Breakdown"

This Belgium film continues to draw accolades, including a successful run at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Hear from the Oscar-nominated film's lead actress Veerle Baetens and director Felix Van Groentingen following a 6:30 p.m. screening Feb. 21 at Cinemas Palme D'or in Palm Desert.

"Omar"
This Oscar-nominated film from Palestine will screen at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22 and follow with a Q&A with director Hany Abu-Assad at Cinemas Palme D'or in Palm Desert.

"My Kid Could Paint That"
Another in a series of documentary films presented by the city of Palm Desert, this one spotlights the rise of artist Marla Olmstead at 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at the University of California Riverside Palm Desert campus. Featured speaker is Suzanne Houck, a certified appraiser of arts and antiques.

"Southern Baptist Sissies"
Director Del Shores (Sordid Lives) brings back this film after is showed during the Palm Springs Gay and Lesbian Film Festival last fall. The film was actually shot before a live audience. Cast members will be in attendance for the 7:30 p.m. screening Feb. 21 at Camelot Theatres. Watch and Listen to Del Shores.

FAIRS
Ask the Rabbi – Palm Springs Street Fair

If you have ever walked Palm Canyon Drive during this weekly Thursday night street fair, perhaps you've seen the small table and sign that prompts, Ask the Rabbi. College of the Desert
Not to be outdone, College of the Desert's Palm Desert campus is the site of its own Street Fair from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through May.

Donald Cravens: Witness to History
His collection of historically significant photos are on display through Feb. 27 at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert.

Recline/Design
The beauty and eccentricity of chair design is posited in the context of artworks that explore the human figure at rest starting Feb. 20 and running through June 8 at the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert.

"Inner Landscape"
Aida Schneider will show her latest collection of oil stick (example of her work at right) on board paintings running Feb. 20-28 at Desert Art Collection & Sculpture Garden in Palm Desert.

"LA n CV"
This survey show of Los Angeles area artists include painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, drawing, video and performance runs through Feb. 28 at the Coachella Valley set Center in Indio.

Kick the Tires

McCormick's Classic Car Auction features more than 500 classic and exotic vicars raining in price from $2,000 to $200,000. Free admission Feb. 21, $15 per person Feb. 22-23 at the Spa Resort Casino parking lot in downtown Palm Springs.

Cabot's Pueblo Museum
