Camp Palm Springs - Kids Summer Camp Programs
Day campers will be busy Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with games, crafts, sports, pool time, group projects and much more!

This outstanding summer camp, offered by Palm Springs Parks and Recreation, is for children entering grades 1 – 8 in Fall 2009 and will run June 22 – Aug. 28 at the Palm Springs Pavilion at Sunrise Park. Day campers will be busy Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with games, crafts, sports, pool time, group projects and much more! Pre and post camp programs are offered as well – with an early morning program from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and an after camp program available from 3 to 6 p.m.
Additionally, from June 22 – July 31, the James O. Jessie Desert Highland Unity Center will offer camp for elementary through middle school youth. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Friday will feature a field trip. Classes include arts, crafts, reading, and physical education.
“Camp Palm Springs is a safe, fun and educational way to keep your kids busy during the summer,” said Sharon Heider, the City’s director of parks and recreation. “This year will be especially exciting because each camp will have different and unique themes. We’ve worked hard to make it a memorable experience for everyone.”
