The Living Desert
This Father’s Day celebrate with a long-neck. But don’t get your bottle opener out just yet. This long-neck is an herbivore, not a brew. The Living Desert is offering an unusual opportunity to feed their reticulated giraffes.
The experience begins at 7 a.m. on June 20 when zookeepers will accompany dads and their guests into the giraffe barn to interact with and learn about these inquisitive beings. After the giraffes have eaten their fill, it’s time to feed the humans, who will enjoy a continental breakfast at the Stephen B. Chase Administrative Complex. Paid reservations are required.
