Stone Circle by Timothy Kroe
Artist Timothy Kroe knows how to go deep. Whether the result of a near-fatal electrocution at an early age or his reverential penchant for mythology and respect for the natural world, Kroe flies high when it comes to existential spirituality.
His new show, Forest of My Soul, premieres at James Jensen Studio, 6-9 p.m., on July 3. This exhibition features works from Kroe’s new “deep forest” series depicting an Aspen forest with sacred rock circles, fields of grasses, a lake, and a forest in each of the four seasons.
