Actor Michael Madsen's poetry reading at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs highlights Day 3 of the AMFM Fest.

The event marks Madsen's return to the desert after he once owned a house in the Thunderbird Heights development in Rancho Mirage in the late 1990s. He will read from 7-9 p.m. in the hotel's Amigo Room, 701 E. Palm Canyon Drive.

Terraplane Sun, with its new release "Ya Never Know", close out the musical lineup with a midnight showing. The bands preceding them include Blasting Echo (8 p.m.), The Lost and Found (9 p.m.), Pssstols (10 p.m.), and Tramps in Stereo (11 p.m.). There is a wine and beer garden hosted by the Tilted Kilt.

The rest of the schedule includes:
