Melvyn’s Restaurant, at the historic Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs, describes itself as “elegantly upbeat and the home of authentic Hollywood glamour.” As you step inside, you are surrounded by reminders of iconic Hollywood stars who frequented this Palm Springs bastion, and it is always a possibility that one may show up to dine on one of the classic, gourmet dishes of yesteryear that Melvyn’s is known for. The Easter Brunch has been a tradition since 1975, and continues to be a popular institution for locals and visitors wanting to experience a treasured piece of Palm Springs history. Priced at $35, brunch includes a classic gourmet entrée (eggs benedict, omelets, various prime cuts of beef, veal, seafood salads), fresh fruit and unlimited champagne! Palm Springs Aerial Tramway – Sunrise Inspirational Message & Gospel Choir
If you are looking for a way to combine the spiritual beauty of music and nature, one of the most breathtaking ways to celebrate Easter Sunday is atop the Palm Spring Tramway. Tram cars run between 5 a.m. and 5:40 a.m. to take you up to watch the sunrise at Mountain Station, with an inspirational message delivered by Dr. Robert Sneed and a gospel music performance by Voices of Song Gospel Choir. Reduced Tram fares will be in effect until 7:30 a.m., and breakfast will be served in the Pines Café, including Easter Ham. The Ride ‘N Breakfast pricing is $23.95 for adults and $16.95 for kids, ages 3 to 12. Easter dinner will be served at Pines Café from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with regular Ride ‘N Dine pricing. No reservations necessary.

The Westin Mission Hills/Pinzimini Restaurant Easter Brunch Buffet
If family-friendly fun in a resort setting with the traditional trimmings of a classic Easter brunch buffet sets your Easter bonnet abuzz, Pinzimini Restaurant at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage is the bees-knees. Open to local resident guests and hotel guests, an extensive buffet loaded with breakfast pastries, salads, oysters, omelets and a variety of “action stations” featuring made-to-order items such as carved beef loin and ham, pasta, stir-fry, kid-centric fare and desserts will satisfy every brunch-ish whim. Le Vallauris Restaurant in the old town area of Palm Springs occupies an historic building, with a staunchly French interior, and an intimate and romantic patio surrounded by Ficus trees. The Easter Champagne Brunch is a three-course, seated affair, with first courses such as a classic French soup trio and delicate seafood preparations, and main courses that range from classic Eggs Benedict to Lobster Ravioli. End with a classically French dessert. Price is $66 excluding tax/gratuity but inclusive of champagne. Reservations are required with seating between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
